The mirror has a light emitting area arranged around a mirror (8). A light conductor (9) has a gap (10) in which a light source e.g. light emitting diode (LED) (11), is arranged. The conductor obtains light from the source for conveying the light to the light emission area. The conductor is arranged around the mirror in a ring shaped manner. Radial front surfaces are formed as light admitting surfaces in gap area of the conductor.
