The automatic spraying action to preserve an automobile interior and chassis (23) with a wax coating against corrosion, by a robot at an automobile production line, takes the geometry of the hollow zones (1',1") of the automobile which is shown as a simulation by computer assisted design (CAD) to simulate the spraying action using the spraying assembly parameter. The simulation gives the zone to be covered by the coating and the optimum spray jet (3') and the optimum spray head (8) position for the spraying opening (9), which delivers the jet sprays (12).
