The connector has a reinforcement unit (11), and a rubber unit (10) with flange and pipe-shaped sections (12, 14), where the flange section is adjusted, such that it sealingly lies on inner side of a pipe. The pipe-shaped section is adjusted, so that it sealingly encloses a section of another pipe (6). The reinforcement unit is adjusted to encompass the pipe-shaped section, where the two units are formed from one-piece. An independent claim is also included for a pipe system comprising two pipes that are connected by a connector.
