The component has a low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) (10) embedded in a printed circuit board (PCB) (20) such that the LTCC is completely enclosed by the PCB. The LTCC and the PCB are mounted on a control device-housing base (30). The LTCC and the PCB are connected with each by bond wires (12, 21). A LTCC-cover (40) is arranged above the LTCC and bond wires so that the LTCC is enclosed by the base, the cover and the PCB. An independent claim is also included for a control device for a drive control unit and engine control unit of a motor vehicle, including a system component.
