In a plant for producing a melt-blown non-woven (10) of filaments supplied from jet tool(s) (1), where the filaments form a polymer filament-air stream (6) (using process air) which contacts a deposition and transport system (4) on which the filaments are deposited, the filaments (6) and/or the non-woven filter (10) is/are coated with a nano-scale inorganic or organic polymer (A) in an aqueous formulation.
