Virtual and damaging effects` phenomenal correlation obtaining method for automobile structure, involves evaluating signals obtained from influencing and force parameters to determine effects for obtaining correlation

The method involves testing an automobile structure at different operating conditions and modes to measure force parameters e.g. wheel force, and influencing parameters e.g. undercarriage acceleration. Signals (3, 10) obtained from the influencing and force parameters are evaluated to determine virtual and damaging effects at the structure, respectively. Phenomenal correlation between the effects is obtained analytically.
