The transport system for rolls of paper in rotary printing machines comprises a cradle, in which the roll fits, mounted on a moving platform. The cradle is centered by a wheel (11) mounted on it which fits into a funnel system on the platform made up of two mirror-image mountings, each with a vertical lower section (13) and a sloping upper section (12).
