Temperature measurements and calibrations at an inhomogeneous test object, with an imaging spectral and radiation pyrometer, uses a number of passage filters (8-12) of variable thickness between the test object (1) and the image detector (30) in a two-dimension passage filter mask (29) in the optical channel (3) of the imaging pyrometer.
