The clamp (1) for the fastening of tubes or rods to a base, especially an insulation, has two legs (2,3) equipped with barbs (8), and which in the unused state are connected to a flexurally rigid center plate (7) by elastic bands (5,6) to lie opposite one another on the same level. The bands each have an opening (15,16) extending on both sides of the center longitudinal axis (A) of the legs and through which the end (17,18) of the leg lying opposite the center plate is accessible. An independent claim is included for a driving-in device for clamps including a punch for acting upon the bent clamp and which has two oppositely disposed fingers constructed for inserting into the openings of the band and for pressing upon the leg ends on the band side.
