The method involves selecting a series of tests among several predetermined series of tests, and adjusting set of predetermined test parameters on a station comprising several parameterizable test devices (1). A test program corresponding to the selected series of tests is executed using the test devices. A qualification level is attributed to the tested watch according to the result from each of executed tests. The test devices permit to effectuate, on the watch and/or on a component of the watch, at least two distinct tests among abrasion test, sealing test, external unit e.g. push button, buckle, rotating bezel and/or crown, operation test, test for resistance to the mechanical fatigue by traction, torsion, flexion, folding, impact, shearing, compression and/or crack, vibration test, acceleration and/or impact test, climatic test, wrenching test, ultraviolet radiation resistance test, ozone resistance test, solving agent resistance test, and test for resistance to the corrosion by salt water, chlorinated water and/or sweat. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a computer medium comprising a set of predefined test parameters for adjusting parameterizable test devices in order to qualify watches using the test device (B) a device for implementing a watch qualifying method.
