A studio light with a first and second light output mode and adjustable color temperature. The color temperatures of the first and second light output modes may be different. The light module comprises one or more emitters of light of at least two different colors. An external signal causes the light module to switch from a first light output operating state to a second light output operating state of higher intensity and back to the first light output operating state.
