The disc brake comprises a fixture element (2) that has a disc (1) with spaced pairs of spars (2A) which extend over the outer periphery of the disc in an axial direction relative to the disc with the spars having brake pad guides (3). There is a brake calliper (4) that slides on the spars of the fixture element. There are a pair of brake pads (7) that slide on the spars of the fixture element fixed through brake pad guides such that brake pads are pressed against both sides of the disc via the brake saddle. There is a pair of brake pad springs (10, 20) that are associated with the corresponding spars of the fixture element and which support, elastically, the brake pads between the spars. There is a guide plate section (14) adapted to the associated brake pad guides of the fixture element, and around which the brake pads are guided axially on the disc in accordance with the brake pad guides.
