The method involves acquiring projection images (I1-In) from different focus points (S1-Sn) that lie around an interesting area (ROI). Real positions (P1-Pn) of a marker of a guide wire of endoprosthesis are determined in each image. A virtual position (M0) of the marker is calculated in the area. A three-dimensional image of the endoprosthesis is reconstructed based on the images at its assigned displacements. An independent claim is also included for a device for providing an image of endoprosthesis.
