The switch gear (10) has an IR-receiver (24) and an identification unit (22). The identification unit is formed to identify a switching signal received from the IR-receiver and thereupon to effect switching of the lighting fixture. The identification unit is formed for programming in the switching signal, which can be identified, by a feed of the switching signal via the IR-receiver. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) Lighting fixture; and (B) Furniture with an integrated lighting fixture.
