The gas burner has a mixer unit (1), which forms a mixture of two gaseous media. The mixture consists of air and a combustible gas. For the first medium, a first inlet (2) with several outlets (3) is present at the lateral surface of the burner. For the second medium, a second inlet (4) with flow channels (5) is present. Each discharge opening is allocated to respective opening of the flow channel. The flow channels are spiral and are formed of channel carriers (6). The channel carriers consist of several air guidance segments arranged around their center axle.
