The cooker templates are fixed to cover the spaces between hotplates and unused hotplates. The templates may be made from a variety of materials and are provided with prestamped, selectively separable, hotplate-shaped cut-outs. The templates can be fixed on the cooker in a secure and technically uncomplicated manner by adhesive strips in the shape of a hotplate rim, and cover the whole cooker surface in a flush fitting manner.
