The child safety seat consists of a backrest (11) exhibiting a railing, which has side guards provided with a safety belt (30) for holding the child. Seat body and the side guards (22) are manufactured from foam material. A vent (60) is provided in the seat body (10) with which the seat is inflated. Railings (20) and side guards are connected by means of sewing.
