A warning triangle for a motor vehicle, especially after the European norm ECE 27 comprises three equal side arms (2-4) each divided into sections (5-10) linked telescopically or by connections (11-13) and releasably interlinked so as to be laid in parallel. Turnable feet (18-21) also divide (21-29) so that a foot part is no longer than a side part and can be laid parallel to it between the horizontal arm in packing.
