The flow measuring instrument has a housing (1) and a measuring cylinder (7). The measuring cylinder is set at the housing of the measuring instrument. On a side section of the measuring cylinder a seal (2) is provided and at an opposite side of the measuring instrument an opening (9) is provided for mounting (4) an attachment of the measuring instrument at a flow channel (5). The seal is on the side of the measuring instrument housing and side of the flow channel. The seal is concave.
