u The tobacco pocket comprises a receiver pocket (5), for tobacco, with a front layer (5a) and a back layer (5b). There is an opening region (7) at the edge zone (3, 4) of the front layer located between the front layer and the back layer. The inner side of the front layer is a section (9) of a hook and loop fastener (8) whilst the cooperating counter piece (10) of the hook and loop fastener is located on the inner side of the back layer. The hook and loop fastener may extend over the entire length of the opening region. Both ends of sections of the hook and loop fasteners may be joined permanently together at the end regions. The front and back layers may be as built as one-piece from a flexible material. There may be a flap (6) located in the opening region stemming from the back layer and which is foldable over the opening region to the outside of the front layer.
