Apparatus for carrying out agglutination tests comprises two plates which are sealed together. Inlets (4) in the upper plate connect with channels (6, 6') of the same length and volume on either side which lead to identical reaction chambers (8, 8'). Independent claims are included for: (a) a system for carrying out agglutination tests comprising apparatus as described above connected to a blood bag via a Luer or Luer-Lok syringe;and (b) a method for carrying out agglutination tests using the apparatus.
