The rod pod has a rear buzz bar (9) mounted on a supporting frame (1-4), and transversally holding a part of a heel of a fishing rod. A front buzz bar (8) is mounted on the frame and transversally holds an intermediate part of the fishing rod. The bar (8) is curved with its concavity turned towards the bar (9), where length of the bar (8) may be fixed or adjustable. The frame constitutes a base (1), a girder (2), and forks (3, 4).
