The case has a semi-rigid rectangular sheet separated into three parts (2-4) by two rectilinear grooves. A semi-circle shape slit (7) is precut in a base (2). The base is folded back on a support (3) of the case. The base is cut to obtain a rectilinear slit (6) to position a digital data storage disk. The slit (6) has holes (6`, 6``) at its each end. The base and a cover (4) are cut by the slit (7) and an arc shape slit (8). An independent claim is also included for a method to implement a case for storing and protecting digital data storage disks.
