The table has a leg assembly (2) with two parallel oscillating legs (9) connected at level of ends of rails of a table top (3) by a pivot connection (P1) and two parallel sliding legs (15) connected to the rails by a sliding pivot connection (P2). The legs (9, 15) are connected two by two by a pivot connection (P3). The assembly passes from a deployed position to a folded position so that the legs are parallel to the table top. The sliding legs of the assembly are at the level of other ends of the rails and form, with the oscillating legs, X shape in the deployed position. The sliding legs slide along the rails in direction of the former ends of the rails in the folded position.
