The device has front and rear straps (5A, 5B) with sliding units (9A, 9B) arranged respectively at front and rear side ends of a kite. A sliding line (8A) has two ends extending from the respective units. Front and rear lines (6A, 6B) extend respectively from the ends of the line (8A). A stiffener unit maintaining a preset distance between the straps has a series of plastic hollow spacers (44) allowing sliding of the line (8A).
