The method involves preparing a digitalized image formed of pixels each representing brightness of an elementary zone of the image. A thresholding operation is realized on the image by replacing values of each pixel by a threshold value closer to brightness thresholds. Cross perforations is formed on a plate (1) and have a position corresponding to the pixels` position and a section corresponding to a threshold value assigned to pixels. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a device for reproducing a print on a plate (B) a printed plate realized by a method for reproducing the print on a plate.
