The device has a threaded rod (3) along which a removable part (4) is lowered or raised with respect to a female hinge pin (6) fixed in a casement. The part has serrations (7) that are distant from serrations (8) of a male hinge pin (9) fixed to a frame, in an upper position of the part. A star wheel (2) is screwed to slide the part (4) towards the pin (9) so that the serrations (7, 8) are overlapped with each other to lock the pins.
