The device has a dense rubber foam block (6) adhered on a high-density wooden plate (2), and two metal tubes (4) fixed on the plate by screwing metal screws (1) on holes (3) in the plate. The tubes (4) are stacked on two metallic retractable rods (5) fixed on a string instrument. The rods are positioned on both sides of strings of the instrument, at some distance from a bridge of the instrument.
