Concepts hierarchy coding method for implementing knowledge bases offering direct/online access services, involves adding integer representing primitive concept to identifier with all sets of integers

The method involves allocating an identifier formed by sets of integers, to primitive concepts and to node of lattices associated to the concepts. Each set of integers defines an access path between the primitive concept and universal concept through successive father primitive concepts. An integer representing primitive concept is added to the identifier with all the sets of integers. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a data structure representative, under coded form of a lattice of concepts, of a concepts hierarchy belonging to ontology (B) utilization of a data structure for execution of a subsumption test between primitive and defined concepts and between a primitive or defined concept of lattice of concepts (C) utilization of a data structure for execution of a discrimination test of set of generalizing concepts of a sub-set of concepts of hierarchy of concepts (D) a device of coding, under form of a lattice of concepts, a concepts hierarchy belonging to ontology (E) a computer program product recorded on a storing medium for execution of a central processing unit of a computer or by a device including a central processing unit of computer.
