The method involves comparing a voltage value measured on a DC bus with a determined limiting value by a comparator (10). Slope of an internal ramp (R) is forced to zero value when the voltage value is higher than the limiting value, in order to confer a constant frequency to a stator of an AC motor. The slope value is progressively increased when the voltage value is lower than the limiting value. An independent claim is also included for a system of controlling voltage on a DC bus of a speed controller for an AC motor connected to a current distribution network.
