The engine has a rotor that rotates in a stator and comprises two biconvex pistons (6). The piston is connected to a half-crankshaft (1) by a connecting rod rotating on a crank pin (17) decentered from the half-crankshaft. The stator has an air inlet orifice, an exhaust gas evacuation orifice, and an explosion chamber for the explosion of an air-petrol mixture, where the explosion leads to a rotating movement of the rotor.
