The casing (10) has a tubular housing (15) receiving a rod of a clamping bolt (30) and comprising retention units for retaining the bolt in the housing, where the housing is perpendicular to a driving axis of a motor. The units constitute a tulip (16) comprising four petals exerting a clamping force around an upper section of the rod to clamp the rod. Each of the petals has an end fixed at an inner wall of the housing and another free end projecting within the housing. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a window regulator module.
