The chair has a lower base (7) and a crosspiece (9) fitted to the base. An upper base (8) is fit in the crosspiece and a rotating plate (5) is fit in the upper base on which a mat (14) is arranged. The plate has rollers (6) supporting an end of the upper base and pinions driving a gear for rotating the plate. A clock is permanently positioned facing the sun. A solar sensor (3) is situated above the plate for positioning with respect to the sun. A rotatable and inclinable parasol (15) is on the plate and a button releases the mechanism of an engine system and deactivates the mechanism.
