The assembly has a rigid plate (3) comprising two parallel crosspieces (4, 5) connected in their middle by a median unit (6) and two panels (7, 8) moved between a closed position, in which it closes a space between the median unit (6) and one end of the crosspieces and an open position, in which it opens the space. The crosspiece (4) is fixed to rear of an upper crosspiece (9) of a windscreen and the crosspiece (5) is fixed to the front of an upper crosspiece (10) of a rear window.
