The drum has an external tube (1) fixed in rotation with an output shaft (16) of a reduction gear (12). The output shaft has an end (11b) that includes an annular component (22) having alternate magnetic poles. A motor (10) has a casing with another annular component (23) that includes same number of poles as that of the component (22) so that a limited restoring torque is established between the shaft and casing to oppose a starting torque of the shaft with respect to the casing. The motor, gear and the components are housed in a case (17) in a tight manner.
