PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with manual fine work in a dust suction type hand sander grinder adapted to perform polishing work while sucking dust generated from the polished surface of a polishing object not to be scattered. PSOLUTION: In this dust suction type hand sander grinder having a built-in negative pressure generating mechanism, air is supplied from the outside to the interior of a hand sander grinder body, the hand sander body is evacuated to generate negative pressure in the hand sander grinder body, dust is sucked from the side of the polishing surface of the hand sander grinder body through a dust collecting hole 42 communicated with a dust collecting chamber in the hand sander grinder body into the dust collecting chamber, and captured and separated in the dust collecting chamber.
