PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly and accurately identify a fault occurrence section of a transmission line.;SOLUTION: A master station 16 collects time data from slave stations 20, provided at iron towers 10 for installing the transmission line, and sequentially compares the time data of the slave stations 20, in the order of a distance starting from the nearest to the farthest on a path of an overhead ground wire 13.
