PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a business form processor for deciding the occupancy position of a processing object region on a business form space based on information acquired from the business form format.;SOLUTION: A business form 1 is provided with a region 2 where processing object information is arranged and a pattern showing a reference position for specifying the position of the region 2, and expressing at least the size information of the region 2. The business form processor detects the reference position in a pattern in the input business form image, and recognizes the size information of the region 2.
