PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating diseases accompanying destruction of bone and to obtain a therapeutic agent. PSOLUTION: Destruction of bone is suppressed by making osteoclast differentiation inhibitory action of IL-4 directly act on monocytes being precursor cells of osteoclasts by modified adeno-associated virus incorporated with DNA of human interleukin-4.
