PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caking preventing method by which the caking of the water granulated blast furnace slag is stably and sufficiently prevented through a long period without being affected by the fluctuation of the quality or the properties of the water granulated blast furnace slag or the like and the water granulated blast furnace slag fine aggregate for concrete which is obtained by the same. PSOLUTION: As the method of preventing the caking of the water granulated blast furnace slag or the like, a caking preventing agent containing 30-99 mass% component A and 70-1 mass% component B, wherein total of the component A and the component B is 100 mass% is used by 0.002-0.5 pts.mass per 100 pts.mass water granulated blast furnace slag. The component A is at least one selected from an acrylic acid based high polymers and its alkali metal salts having weight average molecular weight of 1,000-100,000.
