PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for an IC card, capable of improving a good product rate and production efficiency. PSOLUTION: This production method for the IC card has processes: for cutting a base material 20 for the IC card having a first plate-like member 30, a second plate-like member 40, and an antenna circuit 34 having connection terminals 34a provided between the first plate-like member and the second plate-like member from the first plate-like member side to form a recessed part 22; for inspecting exposure of the connection terminal inside the recessed part; and for disposing an IC module 11 inside the recessed part. The prepared base material for the IC card has a luminescent layer 24 including a UV luminescent resin provided adjacently to the first plate-like member side of the connection terminals.
