PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas passage structure for an internal combustion engine, an exhaust manifold relating to the exhaust gas passage structure, a cylinder head, and a gasket for the exhaust manifold capable of inhibiting condensed water which is a cause of damage of a sensor element such as a gas sensor from staying in the exhaust gas passage and inhibiting increase of exhaust resistance.;SOLUTION: The exhaust gas passage structure 100A for the internal combustion engine consists of the cylinder head 2A having an exhaust port 4 formed therein, an exhaust manifold 1A fixed on the cylinder head 2A and including an opening part K1 smoothly expanded toward an upstream side to make opening area larger than a downstream side opening part of the exhaust port 4, and the gasket for the exhaust manifold put between the exhaust manifold 1A and the cylinder head 2A. Degree of expansion of the opening part K1 is smaller at least in a range lower than a point P1 which becomes the lowest point under an assembly condition in an inner wall surface W right before expanding to the opening part K1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
