METHOD FOR TRANSPLANTING TREE, AND ROOT BALL FOR TRANSPLANTING TREE

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for transplanting a tree improving a forest test transplanting method so as to shorten a period of time required for transplanting and improve a rooting ratio of a tree in a root pot. PSOLUTION: The method for transplanting a tree comprises the following process: a process of digging down earth around the root pot for the tree; a process of subjecting the exposed roots to ring barking; a process of covering the whole or part of the dug-down part with a sheet having water permeability, air permeability and strength enough for suppressing the growth of the roots of the tree; a process of charging the part covered with the sheet with culture soil having 60 wt.% of a liquid-phase ratio in three-phase distribution in maximum water capacity; a process of curing the tree until fibrils sufficiently grow in the sheet; and a process of transporting the tree together with the sheet and the root pot containing the culture soil in the sheet.
