PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire type portal container crane utilizing general electric power feeding (commercial electric power).;SOLUTION: This RTG (the tire type portal container crane) utilizing general electric power feeding is provided with a gantry, all machine feeding circuits, and a plurality of motors 142, 143 installed in the gantry to receive electric power from the all machine feeding circuits of the RTG, and the all machine feeding circuits are connected with an electric circuit network for general electric power by cables. This RTG is further provided with a cable reel which is provided on a gantry side, around which the cables are wound, and which connects one end of the cable with the all machine feeding circuit and lets the other end of the cable enter a cable slot on the ground surface along a cable guide device provided on a gantry beam below it, extend along the cable slot, and connect with a general electric power connection panel in a cable slot end part. When the RTG runs, the cable reel 16 stores/takes out the cables by distance between the RTG and the general electric power connection panel.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
