PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DNA array for screening contamination by dioxins and to provide a screening method and to provide a gene for monitoring dioxins and a plasmid vector for plant transformation used for introducing the gene into a host plant body.;SOLUTION: The DNA array for screening contamination by dioxins is obtained by immobilizing a DNA probe prepared from a plurality of genes, derived from Arabidopsis thalina, in which the expression changes according to exposure to dioxins onto a substrate. The method for screening contamination by dioxins comprises using the DNA array. In the gene for monitoring of dioxins, expression of a reporter gene changes when exposed to dioxins.
