PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nicotine transdermal absorption preparation has excellent content uniformity, satisfies both fixedness and a soft feeling during adhesion, has reduced skin irritation upon peeling off and excellent adhesive property and to provide a method for simply and economically producing a nicotine transdermal preparation, which has excellent nicotine coating uniformity in a production process and produces the preparation.;SOLUTION: The method for producing a nicotine transdermal absorption preparation comprises forming an adhesive layer containing a liquid component compatible with nicotine and an adhesive on a substrate and has (1) a process for making an adhesive layer containing a liquid component compatible with an adhesive in which the contact angle of nicotine to the adhesive layer before nicotine addition is 20-60° and (2) a process for coating the adhesive layer with nicotine and impregnating the adhesive layer with nicotine. The nicotine transdermal absorption preparation is obtained by forming an adhesive layer containing a liquid component compatible with nicotine and an adhesive on a substrate.
