PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oral cavity composition for the prevention and removal of dental plaque, the prevention and dissolution of dental calculus, and the prevention and treatment of periodontal diseases.;SOLUTION: The tree, branch, twig or leaf of a tree of the family Sciadopityaceae is extracted with water or an organic solvent and the extract is used as an active component of the oral cavity composition for the prevention and removal of dental plaque, the prevention and dissolution of dental calculus, and the prevention and treatment of periodontal diseases.
