PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for determining which component in a selected source OS is to be included in a target OS so as to support the feature of the source OS in the target OS.;SOLUTION: Each data object expressing each component and feature in the source OS identifies export and reference concerned with the component or feature expressed by the data object. A dependency model identifies other component to be included in the target OS having the component concerned. A target OS builder program receives an input for a feature required to be included in the target OS by a user from the user. A component obtained from the source OS and necessary for supporting the selected feature is identified and selected by using the dependency model.
