PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technique capable of giving information related to an article in various stages from an intermediate article being manufactured to a final article without aesthetic problem while avoiding the problem in space for application of information, and preventing the fact that the information is applied to the product from a third party, so that the product can be objectively verified to be a true article, or the distribution route of the article can be acquired later.;SOLUTION: A subject is irradiated with ultraviolet ray, the presence of invisible excited light from the subject is determined in a condition where no visible light is detected, and invisible information is decoded from the detected invisible excited light as occasion demands.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
