PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distribute a three-dimensional (3D) CG model from a distribution server to a user client.;SOLUTION: A 3D CG model registration part 10 of the distribution server determines whether each model is viewed or hidden as to a combination of the position and angle of each viewpoint which can be actualized, and then generates index information on models which are not hidden by using the positions and angles of respective viewpoints as index keys and stores it in a 3D CG model database 14. When the user client makes a distribution request, a distribution reception part 11, a data retrieval part 12, and a distribution processing part 13 retrieve information regarding a 3D CG model which is not hidden at the position and angle of a requested viewpoint, and geometry information scene information on a 3D CG model which is not distributed yet from the 3D CG model database 14 and distribute them to the user client.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
